Socially Versed
Model Context Protocol

Connect AI assistants to your Socially Versed account

Our MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI assistants securely read your live data and take real actions on your behalf — without copy-paste, scripts, or exports.

What this connection does

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants talk directly to your app's data and tools. With our MCP server enabled, you can have a normal conversation with an assistant — and it can look up your businesses, manage bookings, draft replies, run VersedAI actions, and keep everything in sync, live.

There's nothing new to install on your phone or computer. You simply add the server URL to the AI client you already use and approve access once.

What gets exposed

  • Every entity (businesses, services, bookings, clients, reviews, articles, events…)
  • Your in-app AI agents (VersedAI actions)
  • Every backend function as a callable tool
  • Live, real-time data — not a stale export

What you can do

A few examples of the kinds of things you can ask an assistant once you're connected.

Read your live data

Ask an assistant to view your businesses, services, bookings, clients, leads, reviews, articles, events, and more — pulled straight from your account in real time.

Take actions on your behalf

Create or update records, run in-app AI agents, and trigger backend workflows — all scoped to exactly what your app permissions allow.

Manage scheduling & bookings

Check availability, create appointments, block calendar time, and sync with Google Calendar without leaving the conversation.

Handle messages & reviews

Draft and post review replies, respond to inquiries, log client notes, and triage your support inbox through natural language.

Power VersedAI from anywhere

Use VersedAI's agentic actions — list a service, edit a profile, run a geo check, move a pipeline stage — right from the assistant you already use.

Generate & publish content

Draft articles, social posts, SEO metadata, and email campaigns, then publish them directly to your business profile.

How to connect

Five minutes, one approval. You only do this once per AI client (and again after republishing).

  1. 1

    Publish the app

MCP only goes live on your published domain. Publish from the builder (or republish after any change) so the server is reachable at your app's /api/mcp endpoint.

  2. 2

    Copy your MCP server URL

Open the app's MCP page from the builder to copy the exact endpoint URL — that's what you'll paste into your AI client.

  3. 3

Add the server to your client

In Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT, or any streamable-HTTP MCP client, add a new MCP server using that URL and the OAuth transport.

  4. 4

    Approve the connection

You'll be sent to sign into Socially Versed, then to a consent screen showing what the assistant is allowed to access. Approve once and you're connected.

  5. 5

    Re-authorize after republish

Exposing new tools or republishing can invalidate a client's token — just approve again from the assistant to restore access.

Security & permissions

You stay in control. The connection uses OAuth, so you sign in and approve exactly what each assistant may do — and it never gets more access than your own account.

  • Acts as the signed-in user — an assistant can only see and change what you personally can.
  • Every request is authenticated; nothing is exposed without your explicit OAuth approval.
  • You can revoke a client's access at any time from the app's MCP connections.
  • Sensitive account operations stay locked behind the same permissions as the web app.
